Random Conversations: Sir Candidate
I'm helping out on a friend's political campaign. Last night was a
meeting. I'd be disappointing Spoozy if I didn't post some of the
conversational gems from the evening…
The Candidate finished a long and detailed explanation of why one
committee had its name and mission revised to encompass a broader
message.
JulieU: Are you done? Because I'm now 10 minutes closer to my death and
I have nothing to show for it. What the heck does any of that have to
do with the issue at hand?
We're discussing the candidate's memberships in various community
organizations
JulieU: Ok, so Knights of that explorer guy. You're a member?
Candidate: Well, yes.
JulieU: Huh?
Candidate: Well, actually we're called Knights.
JulieU: So should we all call you Sir Candidate?
