London calling...
Godric and I are sitting in an internet cafe across from our hotel, which is right next to the london eye, which is right across the river Thames from Big Ben...ok, London totally rocks.
We are leaving tomorrow on the Eurostar for Paris and I don't wanna go...I haven't even made it to Harrod's yet.
Yesterday, Day 1 with the family, we managed to make it to our hotel via several underground trains. Yes, folks, we took the tube and survived.
We took a really expensive ride in the London Eye (huge frickin' ferris wheel).
We also made it to Oxford Street so Godric could do some shopping. While here the Grandparents and Father Figure went to find and english pub for us to dine on english fish and chips. After finding what must be one of the few heavy metal gay english pubs, they found a place a bit less 'european' where they (and Godric) had lovely fish and chips and where I had a fabulous goat cheese pasta.
Today, Day 2 was a day long tour where we saw the changing of the guard, the crown jewels, trafalgar sq, and lots of other things. We spent the entire day with Godfrie our tour guide. KatM6 would have loved him.
Conclusion: It seems your not anyone over here unless they erect a monument to you.
Everything is super expensive and to top that off, I'm not finding any cool sleeveless shirts of the Union Jack so Godric and I won't be doing any Def Leppard impersonations anytime soon. Damn!
Gotta go, I'm almost out of my internet time...
Next stop, France!

Awesome! Enjoy the rest of your trip. Make sure to have some Pot Noodle before you leave England. I'm really jealous of your trip to Paris. Enjoy the great food and the smell of pee. Glad that your trip has thusfar been safe. Hope that your knowledge of the French language comes in handy. We can do the Def Leppard thing when you get back...

YAY! Enjoy your trip! And hey - I've seen Trafalgar Square and the Crown Jewels - nothing like seeing all that royal stuff! Also, the man and I visited Brian & Riley - it's all good and we had Zukin's - deep fried bbq ribs TOTALLY rock!
