Variation on a theme...
...or, JulieU knits something for herself! This is the same pattern I used for Mrs. Noland's bday scarf. However, I used a Plymouth Encore Colorspun #7022 (worsted weight). After consulting with the boys at Threadbear, I decided to make this scarf a bit more functional by making it warmer, and it turned out well. I love how this thing looks like those art projects you used to do in grade school. Remember when you would color a piece of paper with crayons and then color over the colors with a black crayon and 'scratch' out a picture. Yep, that's what this scarf reminds me of. And it is WARM! OTN: As a matter of fact, I don't think I'm doing ANY Christmas knitting. Talk about stress free!
Still wrapping up the white circular baby blanket (I'm still working on the edging).
I've got a few scarves on the needles, but nothing that is destined as a Christmas gift...
